Training Resources

We're to help you plan.

The Utah National Parks Challenge is designed for the athlete that cherishes that moment of triumph as they cross the finish line. That moment represents weeks, months, and often times years of planning, hard work, and sacrifice.  Whether you are a seasoned pro or ambitious hero-in-the making novice, we have tools to help you along the way.

Training Plans

The Challenge - Simple

The smoothest road? Start on Day of the Challenge and give yourself the entire four months.  3 miles or 6,000 steps per day will do it!  Starting a bit later, say a month in? That's 4 miles or 8,000 steps a day. Or kicking off halfway through? No problem. 6 miles or 12,000 steps a day. You got this!

We get into the nitty gritty of daily mileage goals, cross-training, and yes... rest days. Thank goodness.
